Would it be cool if NASA sent an uncrewed probe to Mars and it's moons phobos and deimos. Sadly not now but what if Gene and Von Kerman requested a launch to Duna and Ike and get a whole trip. So one day it happened KSC requests a grand tour of Duna and Ike. Sadly none of the kerbals volunteered as it would be too scary of a trip. Here is the score card. Points Bold for Required already Arrive at Duna and get science for high and low orbits +100 points Land at Duna +100 points Arrive at Ike and get science for high and low orbits +100 points Land at Ike +100 points No crew + 400 points full reusable lander for both bodies +150 points Every biome accomplished on Duna +850 points Every biome accomplished on Ike +500 Points Return and land at Kerbin +150 points Make a video for our challenge video results + 250 points No RTGS + 250 Under 500000 (for spacecraft cost) +550 points No relay + 100 points All science accomplished (all autonomous experiments [meaning deploy-able gear isn't on the list as well as science lab]) +1000 points No rover + 400 points Complete all the following above +500 points Total possible flight score: 4650 Lander requirements The lander must be a direct ascent lander. Meaning no multiple launches or docking a separate lander. You can single stage lander two stage lander (lander stage and return stage) Deploy-able lander (expands and folds back into to make less space) You can't glider lander radical decoupled lander (EX: putting duna parachutes on the side and then decouple them after doing all duna landings) Submissions date This will close on December 30th 2019. winners announced a few days after. Reward: You will be submitted to have a program named after yourself. In my space program we name stuff after certain people who decided that name. your name will be in a program that is not announced yet. And don't worry... you will be famous
