    Hi, while ESO build their E-ELT on the Cerro Paranal Armazones, the American TMT is still facing "legal and social complications" on Hawai'i. First light is planned for 2024 for both Telescopes. Now there seems to form a Plan B for the site of the TMT, the beautiful island of San Miguel de La Palma. That'll be right up the hill here. A technical commission is checking the conditions, the site, if chosen, wouldn't be far from the GTC.
