The Challenge

The kerbals saw Eve one day and wondered, "What's it like on the purple planet?" Jeb said they should send him on a return mission. But the KSC had a different idea. A colony of some sort.

The mission:

Land 12 kerbals on Eve. 8 of them will be in a colony.

Land a glider, a rover, and a boat. Drive 10km with the rover.

Fly 5km (within 1km of the ground) with the glider. Drive 2km with the boat(we all know how glitchy the water is.)

The 4 other kerbals will return to orbit. They will also go home.

TAC Life Support

FAR/NEAR

Deadly Re-entry

KAS

Kerbal Joint Reinforcement

Mods Prohibted:

Anything I didn't list.

You are allowed to have as much launches as necessary.

I think this a fantastic idea for a challenge! Nobody stays on Eve...intentionally. ;-)

A couple of things:

--Even if the purpose of the challenge is just to say, "I did it!", there should be some sort of scoring system so we can all wave our rockets at each other.

--Add a boating option!

Someone is going to tell you to do it anyway, so I will: Please read the Challenge Submission Guide sticky post. You'll get a better response

Can you explain the picture thing in a more specific manner. Do I get my screenshots from Steam, post them on Imgur, then make an album and link it?

Question the glider 5k flight. that from orbit, mid atmo, below 30k below 10k what? Unless your talking about a glitched infini glider it's going to have to be launched to altitude /speed via another vehicle or a disposable rocket.

Yes, you can do exactly that. The imgur album format is REALLY convenient.

You can also post images from other sources by using the "img" tag:

Again, take out the spaces from my example.
