When ever I use a lazor missile and it blows up and I'm in its blast range the game says I die and won't let me revert the launch or go to space center why?

to reproduce this bug

take any stock aircraft attach the lazor system and an L missle.

fire the missile at the ground around 2 km from you and then for me it says I died and turns of sas.

some times it won't let me out of the aircraft via revert and recover vessel.
