Planes not tracked objects

For some reason planes I launch are not tracked: they dont show up on the map or in the list of "Tracked Objects." I have no idea what caused this... anyone run into something similar?

Everything was working fine, then I launched my first successful SSTO, only for it to disappear along with Jeb and Bob. Launches from the VAB are tracked as usual, just SPH launches are missing.

Edit

After verifying the game files (Steam install) and reinstalling mods a few at a time, it seems my save file is somehow corrupt and causing the problem :mad:
