Game is slow for no reason

I shut down my comp a bit ago, then restarted it, everything seemed fine, but when I loaded and played KSP, the thingies I had set for Toolbar were reset and my game was unbearably slow. My game WAS pretty heavily modded, but it never lagged like this before. Playing stock sort of helped, but not a lot. If you know how to make KSP fast again or something like that, it'd be very appreciated.
