Karbonite won't show hot spots

Recommended Posts

I've 'installed' the Karbonite mod, it all works great except I can't show hot spots.

When you right click on the "KA-100 detection Array" it just shows the abundances and gives no option to toggle the view to show hotspots, picture: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B1e...ew?usp=sharing

Extraction of Karbonite works fine, I just can't see where the richest areas are.

I've got:

KSP version = 0.90.0;

Karbonite_0.5.1

Windows 64 bit

Thanks in advance, I'm desperate to build a mining colony.

Yes, that is default behavior. You need to install either the MapResourceOverlay to see it in map view, like Kethane does.

You may also install ScanSat along side MRO or in place of it. In this case you must send up satellites to map the moon/planet first so you can see where it is. MRO has an option to "enable ScanSat" so it only shows you what has been mapped already.

One last question, when I added 0.2.7 MRO, it said that I needed to use KSP 0.24.2 version as the 0.2.7 wasn't compatible.

1 - Is that correct?

2 - Where can I find a KSP 0.9.0.705 compatible version?

Thanks so much guys.
