My attempt to give the X-15 a go in Real Solar System.

Gear from Firespitter and KAX

Wings/control surfaces are B9 proc parts

Decals from Nebula

Engine model from FASA overhauled to be the X-15's XLR-99 by Realism Overhaul

Cockpit is stock, painted black with KerbPaint

B-52 'Balls-8'

Cockpit from SXT

Engines models from B9, overhauled for realism by AJE

The Edwards AFB terrain mesh was placed with KerbalKonstructs and is part of a little mod I'm (slowly) working on for RSS.
