Joystick yaw and pitch off center

Recommended Posts

I recently got a logitech g13, which has a small joystick on it. When loading a craft in KSP, the pitch and yaw be all the way in one direction, while the joystick is centered. Testing it in Devices and Printers shows that it is centered and responds properly. This is in windows 8 pro 64-bit. Is there anything that I can do t fix this?

Go to the windows start menu and in the search type "Set up USB game controllers." (you don't have to type the whole thing, just click it when it appears).

Open the joystick by double clicking it from the list and move it around, is it off center there? If so, click Settings tab and click Calibrate, follow the instructions.

There's a Unity bug in the current version that for some reason defines the 'center' of each joystick axis as being wherever the joystick happens to be positioned when the game starts up. There's not a lot that can be done about it at the present time, though. :(
