Do whatever you like. It\'s your kerbals. just dont make it too tall. it\'ll fall over. And you can never have too many boosters. Engines are quite heavy now, so i dont suggest having just 1 fuel tank. maybe at least 3.

I\'d like to make something to get into kermits orbit quickly and possibly go to the mun, and still have fuel to get back. Any tips? Im new as of 3/5/12.

Get some mods if you have the full version

Novapunch 1.1a

C7Studios(All three packs)

KW Challenger pack

and if you wanna make orbital stations get the Orbital Construction kit, DACE, and Probodobodyne Probe Kit

Best way to learn how to get to orbit, is to also learn how to get to the Mun..

For both I recommend Kosmo-not\'s video over here, where he flies a 5 tank ship to the Mun and back..

Learn to fly this one, and it should help you with designing and flying most ships.

He is also thinking about doing a video for this ship, which is a 3 tank, no Parachute Muner return vessel!

Considering I learned how to orbit with a very simple method...

Boost up to about 70km (70,000 meters ) How ever you get up to that height is yours to imagine, at that point click 'M' for the orbital map, click the arrow on the bottom , then thrust while gradually getting to the line between orange and blue , wait until the command pod marker (On the map) gets to AP (Apoapsis) then tilt to where the yellow circle with no cross inside of it is and keep boosting until you get a PE that\'s above 70,000 M ,you now have a stable orbit.
