I like this desing a lot, it reminds me of some old NASA satellites.

The only problem I find is that there is not enough panels for long burns, you do have about 5 min worth of burn time though.

I know :/

To avoid this i try to divide the node in 2 or 3 sub-node to make the manuever possible :)

I believe you could use something like the small cubic struts to make it so that the solar panels are only pointed towards one side and so instead of having half of them away from the sun, you could point them at the sun before the burn. Put the panels on two sides and just remember to position it before the burn.

Definitely it will solve the electricity problem but also this solution will delete the "full body of solar panels" look
