In the Shadow of the Moon - extra footage.

Ive seen just about every space documentray there is, but tonight i found this while actually looking to watch In the Shadow of the Moon.

To what extent this is new for some people here im not sure, but it I found some really interesting facts that i didnt know. They go into details upon which some is sad and others really neat stuff i did not know about the astronouts themselves.

Note: There is an x-rated moment at 46:24. Jim Bean's, uh... instruction manual was just full of interesting information.

PS: I want some of his paintings, They are amazing.

I happened to find another documentary ive yet to see. I was looking up information about the Saturn 1b. And in youtube I found this.

This is one of the more detailed documentaries ive seen let alone being about the Saturn 1's... I never knew about thge S-IV stage with the 6 H1s and project HighWater. Really cool stuff. And some uniquie footage. Do yourself a favor. If you cant manage the whole thing. Go to 25:30. Holy crap.. dont think that can be topped.

The S-IV had 6 RL-10s.

Ahh, yes the RL-10s that's right. I think I need to make that staging shot a gif. That three by three engine ignition was spectacular.
