Humanity

A shot screams out to find its mark

Racing to death in the withering dark

Another another falls in its wake

Yet none wait to contemplate

The life that was lived and the life that was

Children, Siblings, Beliefs and Love

All fall to a single moment where perspectives clash

And peace falls again as it always does pass

A dreamer, of peace, of equality, of compassion

Grow not a blood flower of unclear thought or reaction

Think more to humble lives as we spin in spaces empty sea

As one, as united, as humanity

I think this would be real nice if it is written as a concrete poem. Maybe in the shape of earth.
