Mod which levels up Kerbals -as- they gain experience, rather than when they return to Kerbin?

I could've sworn I found a mod a while ago which levels up Kerbals as they gain experience, instead of when they return to Kerbin. Furthermore, I could've sworn I had it installed.

However, I don't have it installed, and I can't find any reference to it either (neither Google nor forum search has helped so far..).

So: Was this just a dream, or is there really such a mod and my search skills have abandoned me?

(Reason being, I, uh, I mean Chuck, may have come down ever so slightly harder than planned and may have slighly dented the lander. And of course Dunnard is fresh out of Grad school..)

Thank you very much, so I wasn't crazy! :) (Ok, that's a different discussion).

And furthermore, I -did- download and install it. But it's not working. I sent brand new recruits to the Mun, entered orbit, landed, and they are still all Lv0.

Anway, case closed as far as this thread is concerned. Again, thanks muchly! (And hopefully next time I'll remember what to search for).

EDIT: The mod is definitely running; the Kerbals just have accrued less experience points so far than I was expecting based on the stats in the Wiki.. Hmm.

EDIT2: Nvm; re-reading the text instead of just looking at the tables highlights the important bit: only the largest chunk of XP around a given body counts. Which, IMHO, is pants. No other XP system works like that. "Go forth and slay the trolls and the baby dragon. (Oh, but you'll only get XP for the dragon..)"

They should still have a _leetle_ bit more XP since they orbited Kerbin before setting out for the Mun, but that wouldn't make any difference anyhoo.

It's more like you have to kill the troll to kill the dragon, so they could either say "you get 1 point for the troll and 2 for the dragon", or say "2 points if you've killed the troll, and 3 points if you've killed the troll and dragon". Either way you end up with 3 points.

Currently the system is:

Mun Flyby: 2

Mun Flyby+Orbit: 3

Mun Flyby+Orbit+Flight: 4

Mun Flyby+Orbit+Flight+Land: 5

Mun Flyby+Orbit+Flight+Land+Flag: 5

If you wanted additive XP, they'd just make it:

Mun Flyby: 2

Mun Orbit: 1

Mun Flight: 1

Mun Land: 1

Mun Flag: 0

You'd still end up with 5 XP for landing on the Mun.. unless you didn't achieve stable orbit first, in which case you'd get 4 XP.

The current system is actually more lenient with XP, since you can skip "Orbit".
