codefox
Well, yeah. KSP is full of bugs at the moment and, as Maxmaps stated on Twitter, 1.0 might have many bugs as well. Why push out a release when it's clear it will still be in some kind of beta state? Is there any reason for that? I'm really curious and I'd like to know.
ratchet freak
Because if they don't say at some point "this is release" then they will be in beta forever, it is very easy to say that you will release "a few versions down the road" but setting the deadline will change some of the dev tactics more to bug fixes rather than new (not really necessary) features

Thought it's about the release itself, not about why it is "release".
