Blockhouse near first-level pad

So I was messing around in career, and there was an "incident" that left Jeb & his capsule sitting on the pad.

I decided to explore the "fuel tank" partially buried in sand opposite the VAB.

Turns out it's not a fuel tank... it's a small '60s-style blockhouse with an open door Jeb can walk in, and a window slot. I was certainly surprised.

I'm also surprised this doesn't seem to have been mentioned here either (or my Google-fu is extremely rusty)

I always knew it was a block house, I saw it from the KSC menu thingy. I never got around to exploring it though XD

i think its considered part of the launchpad, so if you destroyed the launchpad youd also destroy it.

The tier one launch pad is indestructible (stated by devs). I f you don't believe me, you're welcome to try.
