Meeting the orbit. I am 0.1° off AN and DN, 2 km off on the apo and 5km off on the peri. How minimal is minimal?

The burn is so small to correct the peri that I am afraid I can't hit shift then x quick enough.

I might not have time to get on tonight and correct it though

Adjust the thrust on your engine really low, then you'll be able to do it. That should be close enough to get the contract. Double check your satellite meets the requirements for the contract.

That should be fine. I've had hem complete with a much greater difference. I believe it is 5% margin. Also don't forget to not have any input for 10 seconds. That's 10 seconds MET, so it might be longer while you sit at your computer.

It completed after I lowered my periapsis from 78,500 to 73,500. Yay.

My next probe says to include a mystery goo and a materials bay. Will any cargo bay fit that need?

Can you post a screen shot of the contract window open in flight? We might be able to see if there's a gotcha there.Glad you got that sorted.

The 'materials bay' refers specifically to the SC-9001 Science Jr. The wording's a little confusing, but it's the science gear, not a cargo bay that's required.

I wouldn't be surprised if the deviation allowed was a percent of the periapsis instead of a fixed value, that would make elliptical orbits quite touchy on the one end.
