I am also very new so maybe I have already missed a mod covering this topic

But how do people feel about another race, perhaps one eyed purple things with a catchy name.

[MOD - Unfortunately, alien races other than Kerbals are on the What Not To Suggest (WNTS) list, and will not be in the first release version of the game.
