i'd like to see a tidally locked body large enough to allow geostationary orbit.

as a planet, it would allow permanent darkness, which is cool if you really like flood-lights.

as a moon, it would just look neat.

like Nothalogh suggested above, a binary system with their barycentre lying between the two would be awesome. mutual tidal locking like Pluto-Charon would be fun, especially if they were absurdly close together. (SOI's only a few km apart?) if they had considerable orbital speed around the barycentre, landing would be an interesting challenge.

if they both had atmospheres you could fly figure 8's with a jet-plane!

as for your gas giant picture, Thomas988, i like it. the colors are a little dark, but i think it looks realistic. maybe rings?

This is about millionth time: current physics model of the game can not handle a double planet. Result would be very silly and totally unrealistic. Maybe somebody would feel that fun, but I hope that they keep such a bad jokes out of the game.

Because planets probably will be simply spheres with about ten simple physical properties, I would like to see axially tilted planets and a planet on highly eccentric orbit, a planet with highly inclined orbit and a planet with inclined and eccentric orbit. If they are lazy to implement axial tiltings, at least they could put significant moons of some large planet on highly inclined orbits (let's say about 60 degrees). Fortunately I can make that by myself with Outer Planets mod.
