IVA navball issue

Recommended Posts

Some of the navballs in my Cockpit IVAs (only certain ones) no longer show... like, the ball itself is completely gone and instead I see just a smooth panel, being all awkward with that strange awkward space like something should be there but there isn't. The only cockpit IVAs I am having this problem with are the MK1-2 Command Pod and the MK1 Cockpit. Strangly, the MK1-2 has the navballs except in the bottom, centre seat. I hadn't really noticed this until one day I wanted to pilot something from the inside, then I realised they were completely gone! Is it a rendering error or what? It isn't that it looks glitched or bugged or unrendered, but rather that there is simply an awkward smooth panel, as if a kerbal engineer either forgot to install the navball or was lazy and decided not to implement it.

Do you have any mods installed? Sometime a mod can do strange things like that if you don't have any of the dependencies installed that the mod may need...

I have mechjeb, Docking Port Aligner, B9 aerospace... kerbal alarm clock. Nothing else at the moment that I can think of. o: But it never did that before when I had those. As far as I can remember.

If you have the latest version of Navyfish's Docking port alignment indicator that might have done it. Because of it's RPM integration it could have very easily deleted or overwritten the navball prop placement. I suggest getting RPM anyway, but if you delete the JSI folder you should be OK.
