Sun - My idea for a movie

Billions of years from now: The earth is but a cinder of its former self, All traces of past inhabitation wiped from its charbroiled face, Only one thing of Humanity short of the voyager probes which have now left the galaxy for places unknown, A lone space station orbits the remains of earth in silent vigil, Onboard are thirty Men and Women frozen in liquid nitrogen their existence sustained by the watchfulness of a supercomputer that in its billions has become sentient.

An error in the cryotubes forces the computer to awaken its sleeping passengers who are shocked to find that they are the only remaining humans, One of them a woman named Anna Barman is a military colonel who had died in battle but who's body was preserved by her family, The people make her their leader because of her leadership abilities.

Seeing their situation hopeless two men commit suicide, The surviving people lament their loss while feeling all too sure that they will soon do the same.

An excursion to the surface of the Earth in a shuttlecraft takes Barman and three others down onto this desolate rock, They express a mix of awe and muted horror as the surface is licked by the prominences and flares from the engorged sun, Barman notices a twinkle in the distance approaching to find it a time capsule she opens it to find a child’s teddy bear, She weeps at the thought of having missed everything she knows and loves, She is distracted from her depression by the shock of seeing the surface give way underneath the feet of one of her companions which he then falls to his death, They escape back to the station where they hear from the rest of the crew that three more people have commited suicide, And that the sun is rapidly expanding and within a day it will eat the Earth and the Station.

The crew needs to get into the shuttle and escape, But find that the shuttle can only be undocked by releasing the port from the inside, Barman near suicide herself decides to stay behind and manually release the docking port.

As the Space station followed by the Earth plummets into the sun the shuttle undocks and putting its plasma engines on overdrive rockets away, The crew of the shuttle express worry for Barman who reassures them that this is what she wants and then quotes Carl Sagan's Starstuff explaining that we all come from stars and when we go it will be to the benefit of the stars in restarting the cycle of life. Barman says goodbye to the shuttle and closes her eyes accepting her fate, The crew watch the station vaporize followed by the earth before going back inside their cryopods for another long slumber.

Ten billion years later: The sun and solar system are gone except for the Mighty gas giants who survived the end, The crew wake up and look out the window to see that the cycle has repeated itself and from the ashes a new solar system has formed with a new Earth.

I hope you guys like my idea for a movie plot, If anyone here is a good poet i would like it if you could post a poem based on this storyline below.

This would be a great movie:). I do think that the part about Earth reforming would be a bit unrealistic, but hey, its a movie, right?

Yep Though i do think that the idea of a new habitable world forming in the habitable zone is more than possible.

I think that you should make it that in the future, with the expandeed sun, europa should have it's crust emlted, and they set up a base their and beginrebuilding society from there.

Europa doesnt have enough gravity to sustain a atmosphere capable of supporting an ocean and life, Besides there wouldnt be enough resources or people to to build a base on such a world, They would need a habitable world.
