How to transfer science results on ground?

Question: If I have the MPL landed on Mun (as part of a basis), I just went out with the lander or hopper to retrieve some ground samples and goo reports. Now I return from this other site, land close to the MPL (but don't dock with it). How do I transfer my data to the MPL?

go eva, right click your pod and take data, tben right click your main ship pod and click store data, however you only can keep one of each data per biome per ship

Thanks! But can't the MPL store many data? The pod can't, I know, but if I collect more data of one biome on several single trips and "dump" the data into the MPL, is that possible?

Ah found it! Reading Wiki sometimes helps

"While the transmission boost is quite substantial, it cannot replace recovery of science results. The Lab has no immediate effect on data kept, but it can store an infinite amounts of scientific results. It is the only part which allows even multiple copies from the same experiment in the same situation and biome. This won't happen automatically, though: Kerbals have to go on EVA and make the rounds, manually collecting the data from every instrument."

Remember that the goo container and science junior can only be used once each, unless they are 'cleaned' using the MPL. To do that I think you have to dock with it anyway.
