We are using older KSP versions to ensure compatibility and we are making simpler rockets so that our products can be more accessible to beginners.

Instructions:

Download this craft here: download Kerbal 4.1

A popup will appear, press save file

Go to your downloads folder and copy the Kerbal 4.1.craft file to (Wherever KSP is installed on your computer)/saves/(save name)/VAB

Launch KSP by double clicking KSP.exe

When KSP has loaded, load your the save you copied the craft into

Click on the VAB (the big building in the middle)

Once inside the VAB, press load craft in the upper right hand corner

Select Kerbal 4.1 from the list of crafts

When the craft has loaded, press the launch craft button(to the right of the load craft button)

When on the launch pad, check your staging(The engine icon should be in the bottom stage and the parachute icon should be in the upper stage)

Throttle up by pressing the "x" key

Press space to liftoff

When the rocket stops firing, wait until you are traveling down, then press space to activate the parachute

When you land, you can either revert to launch or VAB(by pressing Esc then clicking revert)or recover the rocket(by mousing over the altitude gauge and pressing recover)

Science!

Umm, though I admire the idea of helping beginners with simple craft... that's how I learnt the game, by building simple craft myself. Take that away and you take away the early learning experience.

Same.

Also, the "throttle up by pressing X" thing is wrong. You press shift or (I think this is only in later versions) Z to go to full throttle.
