Fuel burn temperatures

Recommended Posts

Hopefully this goes here . Anyway, I'm wondering what temperatures certain propellants burn at? Specifically things like APCP, LOX, RP1, ect. Reallly struggling to find this information on the internet. A source is bonus points, thanks for reading.

It depends on the mixture and the engine to an extent.

For example, some engines might be somewhat cooler than others.

You want the average temperatures, though, right? For LOX/RP-1, LOX/LH2, and other bi-propellants, right?

Correct. Also looking for APCP-PBAN. Averages are fine, although how significantly can the temperatures vary between different engines?

I don't think the variance is very large. Perhaps a few percent, perhaps more.

What's APCP-PBAN?
