Update on launcher not working?

Has anyone had a problem on the launcher where the update part just keeps flashing checking for updates and never stops? if so how do u fix this problem?

The launcher is consistently broken. The best way is to open the KSP application directly through the folder, although it sorta depends what OS you're running.

I regular open game throught folder shortcut but i open the launcher when i want to see if there is a update i need to install. When i open instaer if just keeps flashin checkin for update. I can open the actual game just fine. Thank u for replies.
