Is this a bug - Fuel levels

After fighting my 3rd docking attempt for 3 hours I finally dock, and try to refuel my outpost/lander, and the game says my tanks are empty. I reload the my last quicksave before docking, and it shows this.

Note that the delta-v window shows I still have fuel, and the resource window at the top left shows I have more fuel than is in my last stage, but the stage shows empty.

What is happening, and do I have to restart the whole mission?

There is probably a decoupler or some other non-crossfeed part between your two tanks. You have 552m/s of dV left in your current stage, so probably that bottom FL-T400 fuel tank (You appear to have two of them there) KSP Will always draw fuel from the furthest tank first, so your top FL-T400 drains to empty before your bottom FL-T400, and because of your decoupler your satellite fuel tank (The FL-T100) doesn't drain at all.

A better pic would be helpful. Can you put the sun behind you so the ship is well lit and click the button beside "LiquidFuel" in the resource panel, and share an uncropped picture?

Much better. My bet is you've clipped small fuel tanks to make that cluster at the bottom. Click the button beside to the left of "LiquidFuel" in the resource panel and see if another tank appears.

That engine from near future spacecraft has a small tank included.

That cluster is an LV-T95-8 Liquid Engine Assembly from either near future spacecraft or near future propulsion. And I forgot it has a built in tank.

Duh. Now I have to re-dock..
