Sometimes after clicking on something to make it a target, patchedconics breaks and can't return2KSC

Sorry for scrunching it at the end there.

I've noticed that while I'm at my Minmus base and I click on something to make it a target, exception detector reports an exception from patchedconics, from that point on, I'm unable to switch to distant vessels or switch to KSC. I have to force close KSP in order to get out of that state.

It usually happens after an initial attempt to make something a target and I have to click multiple times in order for it to get through.

KSP 0.90 32x

Windows 8.1 64 bit.

Anybody have a clue what's going on here? I know there was a thread with a similar problem that turned out to be RemoteTech or something, but I don't have that.

In the output log, near the end, I was also getting some wierd exception about protocrewmember, I have no clue what that's about.
