Load, Launch and Exit buttons not working in VAB

Hey everyone, im new to ksp and i have recently run into a big problem.

When im in the VAB, and i click the load button in the corner, nothing happens. Same with the Exit button, and the Launch button! this is extremely fustrating . I can, however, do all of these things in the SPH. i would greatly aprecciate ant help anyone can give me on this matter. As i said i am new to the game, so bear with me if i have trouble following advice.

Sounds like you might have one of two problems. You can open the debug log (Press ALT+F2)and watch for errors. That might help you figure out which problem you have for sure.

1) Check the permissions on the VAB directory. Make sure the directories are not set to "read only." (Most likely.)

2) You have a corrupt .craft file in the VAB directory. If you have a corrupt craft file, you'll have to delete it. Often, corrupt craft files are much smaller than the other files (on the order of 1kb).

The VAB directory will be located in /KSP_Install/saves/your_save_name/ships/VAB
