Need Help With Karbonite

Can you use Karbonite to make rocket parts?

If so how to you convert Karbonite in to scrap or ore?

You can't convert Karbonite into RocketParts, but you can use the Karbonite drills to drill for Ore. You then use the Smelter to convert Ore into Metal, then use the Construction Workshop (the big blue thing) to convert Metal into RocketParts.

The Smelter and Construction Workshop come from EPL, which is also needed to turn RocketParts into actual ships.

Note: if you have MKS, then there's a completely different Ore -> RocketParts conversion path, with different parts.
