Steam Purchase but KSP site Download

Hi all,

I searched the forum about this, but could not find any clear answer:

I have purchased KSP using Steam on 25.04.2015.

Will this purchase be recognized under the "my Account" on KSP Site -at this very moment, the list is empty?

Will I be able to download from there in future or do I have to rely on Steam for the rest of my live ?

It's covered in the FAQ on kerbalspaceprogram.com. The TLDR is "no".

You can't, unfortunately, use your steam purchase to get KSP from the website, but even the steam version is completely DRM free (you can launch the exe directly), and you could probably get updates from a friend if you want to boycott steam or something.

Indeed, it's not possible to transfer Steam purchases to the KSP Store.
