KSP Freezes on load screen 64 BIT Linux w/ 16 GB

I'm really getting tired of KSP locking up for no reason, I say no reason because the log file just ends where it froze with no error. Nothing. No idea what causes it, All I know is that deleting the module manager config cache SOMETIMES fixes it.

No ideas here, any suggestions heard

Youre sparse with information .... pls. read "how to get support", that'll make i easier. Otherwise we have to guess ...

Judging from your other problems it could be one of the mods. If KSP runs in clean install (does it ?), add one by one the mods and try to reproduce the error. If you found one then maybe the mods thread can held you.

Please update texture replacer to the newest version. This is the same issue I was having. Updating TR fixed it.

Yeah I've already updated all the mods, quite extensive list, its hard to reproduce because it will work fine for days and then just start locking up for no reason

Quite frustrating, like a car that wont start for random, frustrating, unknowable reasons.

was having the same problem. Turned out to be a permissions issue.

fixed it by running (from my steamapps/common/ folder)

" sudo chmod -R 777 'Kerbal Space Program' "

That grants all users total access to the space program files and should solve your issue.
