Epic Fail

I have reached a possibly new level of Fail.

Whilst trying to achieve Munar orbit, I instead lost my fuel.

The ship and ship debris continued to circle in kerbin orbit, unable to catch the Mun. Then, the debris was slingshotted out of Kerbin orbit, and into....

This happened to a lot of of us when we were first trying to go to the moon. It even happened to some of NASA\'s moon probes.

Happened to one of my debris, and I was happy about that, but having a command pod put on Kerbol orbit is far less appreciated indeed

Yea but I never expected this to happen on my first (well Second) try at going to the mun.

On my first try to get there, I added 3 zeroes too much in the ascent autopilot. When I noticed that, I burned retrograde, but I already was out of Kerbins SOI so I slingshotted around Kerbol and now that probe is on an escape trajectory. I wonder if a MechJeb pod can bore to death...

If you are really lucky that craft will come back home in a few years.

It\'s better than smacking into the surface, the kerbals can actually survive this.

One time with novapunch pack,

i set some debris into kerbol orbit,

but still had enough fuel to return home

(using the escape tower )

While I was messing around with Ion engine SSTO, I fell apart but my debris had solar panels, engine, battery and SAS, so it was able to escape. Failed at the 2.5 km border, though.

Enough of these happening, and Kerbin will have its own artificial trojans, filled with space junk.
