YF-12A

This is the only replica that survived to 1.0

Full stock 222 parts

I had to clip 2 more engines to make it fly actually fast, has tons of fuel about 1400 up to 2400, enough to a long mach 3 test fly.

It handles ok for such a big plane, is one the most stable plane you could ever try, but still not an aerobatic plane.

Performance:

-manouverability good

-speed mach 1 at sea level, mach 3.5 at 12 km altitude

I'm upvoating this before the start troll arrives.

Also, it seems some of my older craft have also survived, including my strela-10 and some fighters.

Why not I'm still learning how the new aerodinamic model works... I think now precise replicas are dead (especially stealth) except for sleek planes like blackbird, mig 21,sukhoi 27-35 and american planes like F-15,F-16 and R.I.P. planes like F-22, PAK-fa, YF-23, F-35.

It's almost impossible now reproduce a fuselage using only wings connectors without compromise the lift.

It's almost impossible now reproduce a fuselage using only wings connectors without compromise the lift.

It does seem F-16 esque jets faired better than most. My TA-50 now looks rather ugly, but it has a tight turning circle and a high top speed.

Designing jets closer to bullets works better.

Actually, I could update that for you. It'll be an overhaul mission.

What do you think of taking over control of KATEC? I personally don't have too much time to play or manage ksp related stuff atm.

UPDATE: increased roll rate and a little modification on rudders.

UPDATE! lowest part count from 258 to 222, lighter than before and a bit more manouverable, now the files come coloured with kerbpaint (if you dont have it it's not a problem the craft will automatically work with stock colour). Ceck the OP for download and new parts kerbpaint download.
