Joystick axes not detected

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to configure my joystick, and the game will allow me to map buttons, but when trying to map an axis, nothing is detected.

$ lsusb | grep Stick
Bus 002 Device 004: ID 044f:b108 ThrustMaster, Inc. T-Flight Hotas X Flight Stick
$ ls -la /dev/input/js0
crw-rw-r--+ 1 root input 13, 0 Apr 28 19:29 /dev/input/js0
$ cat /dev/input/js0

#now I'll move the axes...

So it looks for all the world like the joystick exists and the axes are detected by the OS... but KSP won't see them.

I'm running 64-bit KSP 1.0 via Steam on Arch. The last time I used this stick with KSP was about a year ago, but on the same PC, and also on Arch; it worked just fine then, with no tweaking.
