Can Someone Please Help Me? I Can't Get Those Buttons Near the Navball to Show Up!

As the title suggests, I am having difficulty getting those dang buttons at the bottom of the screen, near the nav-ball to show up. I have the latest version of the game. This is very frustrating for me and I really hope someone can help me fix it.

If the buttons you're referring to are the SAS controls on the lower left of the navball, then in career mode they will only appear if either:

1. at least one kerbal in the command pod has "Pilot" as his/her profession

or

2. if the ship has a probe core (any of them OTHER than the "Stayputnik")

To add some additional information, the pilot must be at least 1-star and the probecore must have more than just stability assist.
