You have weird stuff in your parts files

I don't know where to post this issue, but it happens with an un-modded install.

You have weird stuff in your config files, and this causes trouble for me since I'm writing an app that accesses the KSP parts files, and does stuff with the information inside. For example, GameData\Squad\Resources\ScienceDefs.cfg has some unprintable characters at the beginning of the file, which is presumably because it uses a different character set than other KSP files.

There is another file that has something strange going on at the end, and I had to re-type some of it to get it to be readable.

Are you interested in knowing about this kind of thing and/or fixing it?

Perhaps you could upload the offending files? And are they causing you any problems?
