I must admit that i once watched Mr Nobody, and now wonder does is possible to space continuum start to shrink itself, and does the time start flow backward?

In principle, yes. However all available data points to no.

As best we can tell, we're in a flat universe with a positive cosmological constant. This suggests that the universe will expand forever with the Hubble parameter increasing somewhat to a moderate constant.

It's called the Big Crunch (a la Big Bang). While it's a theory about how our universe will eventually end/life in the universe will end, the more accepted theory is that it will continue to expand until it's dark and cold; no stars, no life, no light. Just big balls of rock floating through space.
