Can you add some non-pilot kerbal a sas like ability

Recommended Posts

Currently i must send on most of my mission, he's me fav kerbal but i want other kerbal some space experience too.

Now i have contract for collecting science around Kerbin, so i attached science lab to mk1 pod, Bob will be best for that he is the "scientist" but rocket is unflayable without SAS and we didn't have science without Kerbal-pilot :-(

This is already available with one of the aerodynamic nose cones. The one that used to be a science part for atmosphere tests is now a device that provides teh SAS you're looking for so non-pilots can control a ship.

If you don't want to use that, there is nothing stopping you from having both a probe core and using a command pod for a passenger.

Yeah, I think that any Kerbal should at least be able to activate the pod's stability system. :)

Unless Squad is implying that their capsules have NO stability systems and it is purely pilot skill... which I don't like.

It's flew bad even with jeb riding it?

I used it before and achieved orbit, but now i added material lab and heat shield

You are going too fast at launch : try lowering the throttle a bit, or better, remove 2 radial engines so that your thrust is qtill good and you will have less mass, hence more deltaV. And try using a gimballed engine on your 2nd stage to have more control, here you used the LV30, wich just won't do for a 2nd stage in this configuration. And overall, start your gravity turn sooner ! And in order not to flip over, do not deviate from your prograde marker too much.

(with that you should be able to get it in orbit)
