Orbital EVA Detachment

When performing an orbital EVA in either of the command pods, the initial state of the Kerbal is random in terms of either attached/detached. Personally, I think the default state should always be attached to the craft.

I haven't been able to determine why this happens, but it occurs when there is nothing obstructing the hatch.

Yes, this is a well known bug. It's better than the Get-Flung-Off-Into-Space bug in 0.90.0 and below.

Does exactly what you think when you EVA.

Yeah i must say that i am quite happy with the kerbal being randomly either attached to the ladder or not attached but floating by. In 0.90.0 it was either attached or thrown into outer space at 30m/s....

As long as they aren't dumb and letting go during re-entry.

Id prefer them to pick one state, but at this point I can live with it.
