Solar Panels not retractable

I don't know if its a bug or a feature, but somehow I can't retract solar panels that I attached to a Science jr. inside a service bay. At first I thought it could've something to do with crew skills, but my engineer has lvl 3. The panels are visually not obstructed by anything, so I guess it is a bug.

1x6SolarPanels and 3x2SolarPanels;are no more retractable.It's not a bug.

Indeed, it was intended. From the 1.0.0 changelog:

- The unshrouded solar panels are now non-retractable.

It does make them more distinctive from the shrouded heatshields.

yeah, but now none of the panels are retractable. And they all still have the option to retract or toggle them in action groups.

I see the shrouded solar panels as retractable and the unshrouded as non-retractable with no option to do so:

What platform and version do you have?

If you mean that there's an "retract" option in the action groups tab, that's a known bug.

It shouldn't actually make the solar panels retract when you use it, though.

Oh, ok, I guess I had it backwards, I thought Shrouded panels were not supposed to retract anymore, so when I saw my unshrouded panels not retracting, I thought that was a bug. I guess it is working as intended.
