Rover control problem

I built a rover with an external command seat, when i board it i try to move forward with w and it moves the weels but also tries to rotate forward, very unhelpful on minmus, any suggestions?

Disable the reaction wheels on the rover by right clicking them. There should be a toggle.

I've not tried it in 1.0, but you should also be able to switch to docking mode. That moves the rotation controls over to IJKL.
