Continue on saved games with new versions installed over old one?

Hi,

just seeing that there is a 1.0.2 version already out.

I just keep saving the game with F5., is it possible to just unpack the new game "over" the old one and you are good to go or should I recover the gameplay files first and copy them back into the new version? How do you guys do it?

I'm assuming you got KSP from the store not steam (same here) so I'd suggest unpacking the 1.0.2 patch as a fresh copy as there are changes to some parts.

Then copy the save folder and settings.cfg from your 1.0 install and paste (replace) that into 1.0.2.
