Survey mission location center

Is there a way to gauge the true position of the zones that are labeled for the survey missions? Perhaps a mod or trick? The map view marker is very deceptive, you can't really tell where the center of the area is from a distance, which makes aiming you vessel in the proper direction very tricky.

Surprised this game doesn't make use of precision coordinate model, longitude and latitude.

Waypoint Manager will do the job.

Have you gone to map view and clicked on the waypoint, then selected navigate to waypoint, or whatever the option is called?

I consider this one of the "can't live without" mods. Hard to recommend it enough
