Engine Precoolers

Recommended Posts

They radiate heat better than almost any other part, which allows you to go a little faster without overheating (in the atmosphere), and they also serve as air intakes and jet fuel tanks, but they don't affect engine performance directly.

They are good for pulling heat from engines to radiators (if you use wing clusters for nukes then a preecooler after nuke and with wings on it works very nicely), but aside from that minimal benefits, and they arent quite worth it in most situations. That said, if you ever need a engine nacelle, they look good, give you essentially free fuel (most of the time i use em its instead of a structural part suchg as the mk1 fuselage), and they have the bonus of being a intake, although thats only useful for some situations.
