Hard Mode Test Flights

I think there should be a test flight mode, for hard mode. Since you can't quickload or revert in hardmode, what I do is test ships in a sandbox mode first, and then when I get them to work I load them into hard mode. But why not just have some way to just do the test flight directly in hardmode, without having to go through all the menus, load saves... load craft files... go back to hard mode...
