Small to many - HUGE to me!!

So, after scanning the Mun for anomalies with SCANSat for the first time, I decided to try and visit one. Having made up my mind on which one, I set off with a simple lander to see if I could get anywhere near it. For some players this may be an easy task, but for me on my first attempt, I was gobsmacked to finally land 1.7KM away from my target! No mechjeb, etc, just stock parts and me!!

This game keeps grabbing me in further and further (and I love it!!)

Please excuse the graphics, however I did this on my laptop, not my usual gaming PC. As you can see, Jeb is very happy to place his flag right on top!!

ah, the mun arch at the north edge of that crater, thats the first anomaly i found, completely by accident, and i managed to orbit through it once (never. again.)

I've never actually visited the Mun Arch, I should probably look it up some time.

Wicked, nice landing site.

When i tried to land there, i went much closer to the arch where theres a (rather steep) gradient.

The plan was to setup and eventually suspend my mun base from it using Kerbal Attachemnt system. The plan has since been upda... err postponed
