just checking so i can add this to the list of Addon\'s on the wiki. does this work with 11.1?

Having just tested this very old addon, one of the first I believe, I have to say that there have been exactly no problems with 11.1.

Considering that I only modified a texture and changed the config a little, not much of a surprise.

NSWR still wins in my opinion for 'most terrifying proposed spacecraft propulsion', even moreso than Orion. At least with Orion you don\'t have to worry about all your fuel tanks/engines spontaneously going supercritical...

Why? With Orion you have thousands of atomic bombs beneath you that can go supercritical. They are made for that purpose! In a NSWR the fuel is stored in boron tubes and only reacts outside the rocket itself. So it is far more secure than an Orion space craft.

You could built big parts of the engine from boron carbide and the engine nozzle from beryllium or some other neutron reflecting material so a chain reaction could only occur outside the engine.

Normal atomic bombs have special triggers so no false ignition can occur but in an orion space craft you would use amounts of 60 bombs per minute or even higher so I think there would be a very tiny risk but it would be higher than in a NSWR.
