Flight Test Notes:

Due to 'deadly hydrodynamics' in stock KSP, you cannot land the plane on water. But you can use the emergency parachute to pancake intact on the water, but not take off again! Good for those awesome seaplane screenshot moments though.

Yes you can land on water with Better Buoyancy, but you will never take off again either! (It will sink!)
