afterburner jet

i was wondering if someone could make a jet with a REAL afterburner. i do not know how to do this, but i know someone can! i was thinking if you used something like the file for the rapier jet, but both modes use intake air and LF. one mode would be like a jet, with normal thrust and a jet exhaust, and the other one would have a better exhaust, higher thrust, and less fuel efficiency. and also, with the new aero, you could really make something awesome!

maybe the exhaust would be something like the one on the j58 engines on the sr71 blackbird.

a lot of mods have afterburners (hot rockets, bac9 aero, just to name a few) but none of the afterbuners work like they should. they are just an effect.
