Best way to configure Kerbal Engineer to be always on?

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I don't really see the point of the 'circuit board' part that Kerbal Engineer adds, since the sensors in that thing will almost certainly be in any probe core or kerbal-controlled capsule anyway. So I would like to be able to use the mod without the part. I've heard of people in the past accomplishing this, and I thought it was a configuration change, though I can't find the file to change.

GameData/KerbalEngineer/Settings contains the files BuildAdvanced.xml, BuildOverlay.xml, GuiDisplaySize.xml, and HelpStrings.xml. No options in any of them is blatenly obvious an option to disable the circuit board part.

I'm on Linux, but I think for something like this that that wouldn't matter. Thanks for your advice.
